This six-week course will give you a boost for the new year by sharing leanings, tools, and techniques that you can incorporate into your daily life which will allow you to feel more in control and calmer in an environment that feels very uncertain right now. If you are feeling vulnerable, isolated, unable to cope, fearful, unworthy, or undervalued then the aim of the course is to empower you and take you on a journey to look at life in a different way. The relaxed and interactive sessions will encourage you to share your own experiences and make small changes in your life to create your own stability in a time that feels like constant motion.

ABOUT THIS SESSION

The key outcomes will be:

Think differently
• Create a deeper self-awareness as to why you feel the way you do
• Learn how to identify and change your thoughts
• Understand why it is important to generate energy and how to boost your motivation
• Learn how to create and embed new positive habits in your daily life
• Learn how to overcome the feelings of fear that may be holding you back.

Feel better
• Develop higher confidence and self-esteem
• Learn to be more courageous to take actions to build your confidence
• Learn to talk more positively to yourself and others
• Learn breathing techniques to support calmness and confidence
• Learn to keep calm and manage reactive emotions
• Reduce your feelings of stress and anxiety

Positively thrive
• Find your own balance in a period of uncertainty and change
• Build your own resilience by developing your own coping strategies to help you face the difficulties in your life, and handle stress more positively.
• Set your positive intentions for the new year and achieve what you visualise your life to be
• Learn to trust yourself, love yourself and care for yourself

 

WHO CAN JOIN THESE SESSIONS

Anyone who lives in Surrey and is over the age of 18.

 

HOW THE SESSIONS ARE RUN

We use a video chat service called Zoom. We can help you set this up, you don’t need to do anything now.
