WHEN

10-week course from 25 March to 27 May 2021.

TIME

6pm – 7pm.

ABOUT THIS SESSION

A 10-week wellbeing course for 16-25 year olds.

Each week, we’ll combine simple mindfulness practices with creative activities to help you understand and respond to your thoughts and emotions (no previous experience of mindfulness or creative activities needed!).

Covering a range of different wellbeing themes, you will learn techniques to improve your mental health, including:

  • Mindful living through everyday activities
  • Gentle self-exploration and expression through creative activities such as art and journaling
  • Self-connection using practices such as meditation and visualisations

WHO CAN JOIN THESE SESSIONS

Anyone who lives in Surrey and is aged 16-25.

HOW THE SESSIONS ARE RUN

We use a video chat service called Zoom (find out more here). We can help you set this up if needed, so you don’t need to do anything right now!

HOW TO JOIN

If you’re already registered with Mary Frances Trust, please email info@maryfrancestrust.org.uk to sign up for this activity.

If you’re new to Mary Frances Trust, please complete our registration form here. If applicable, please include the name of the activity you’re interested in and date under ‘Reason for registering’ (please note it’s not always possible to join a session happening the same day).

Once you have completed the registration form, we will usually aim to respond within 24/48 hours to arrange an introductory call with a member of staff, to find out a bit more about you and discuss how we can best support you.
